Marshall Goldsmith travels the world. He has 9.5 million frequent flyer miles on American Airlines, has “Elite” status on United and Gold status on British Airways. Who is Marshall Goldsmith, you ask?

He is a an executive coach who has worked with more than 80 major CEOs and their management teams. He was an early pioneer in the use of customized 360-degree feedback for executives. He is the co-editor or author of 23 books and has been interviewed on the topic of executive leadership by the Wall Street Journal and Harvard Business Review. He was profiled  in The New Yorker.

He is a digital nomad.

His advice for other digital nomads? “Forget where you’ve been and be where you are.” Don’t worry about what time it is in the city you just left. Don’t try to figure out what time it is where you’re going next. Simply be where you are. His second tip? “Force yourself to sleep.” On a long flight, he puts a blanket over his head — odd but it works for him.

Take a look.
