About eight years ago, I adopted a little ritual before I traveled — swapping out my metal-buckled belt with a piece of strapping from an old backpack. This black belt has served me well through the years, but there might be a new belt on my radar.

The IsABelt is a clear belt designed to prevent “slippage” and bunching around the waist. Although my natural tendency would be to dismiss this as “dopey” and/or weird, IsABelt now offers a male version, called the HisABelt, which may become my new go-to travel belt. While the belt is great for women who don’t want to show too much thong, it’s also a great way to slip through the metal detectors unaccosted — an increasingly desirous situation for most travelers.

Would it not still catch the light though?
Can’t see myself walking into the youmeo office wearing one of these to be honest, my work colleagues would think I was some sort of semi-cyber goth. :/
