The elusive on-the-go word processor always seems to elude us. Although a moleskin and pen - maybe a Leica for photos - have accompanied world travelers for decades, digital nomads are always looking for that one little device that will let them enter text, store it, and move on without wires, bulk or even an Internet connection.

The Pomera is a Korean product that includes a fold-out keyboard, small screen, and storage. You type, edit, and  save documents to the internal storage and it lasts about 20 hours on two AAA batteries. You can drag the files off on PC and it saves everything to TXT files for easy editing in Word and even Notepad. Sadly, it’s only available in Korea and costs about $269 but perhaps an enterprising young author in Seoul might write his or her next great geek novel on the miniscule Pomera.
